“Noia cockle”, a seal that identifies it as the best cockle in the world.

This shellfish grows in the Ría de Noia in exceptional conditions, both due to the geological and climatic characteristics of this area, as well as the harvesting method, respecting the natural growth of this bivalve and limiting its catches to a few months a year. This collection is carried out in a traditional way, with shellfish afloat (with small boats) and shellfish on foot, carried out practically entirely by women.

This preserve contains 30/40 selected pieces of the best cockle from Noia.
